<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Location:</b> Prince George, BC<br><br>The Falcon Group of Companies is a dynamic and growing organization with a diverse portfolio that includes Falcon Contracting Ltd. (Civil Construction & General Contracting) and Falcon Camp Services Inc. (Turn-Key Camps & Catering). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated <b><i><span >Accountant/Bookkeeper</span></i></b> to join our team in Prince George, BC.<br><br><b><i>Responsibilities</i></b></p><ul><li>Manage the full accounting cycle for one or more corporate entities.</li><li>Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices (inter-company and third-party billings)</li><li>Monitor AR activity and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Accounts payable; including data entry, supplier reconciliations, and payment processing.</li><li>Complete bank and credit card reconciliations, supplier account reconciliations, and inter-company account reconciliations.</li><li>Maintain and track fixed assets; calculate and record amortization and depreciation.</li><li>Prepare and file GST, PST, payroll, and other tax remittances accurately and on time.</li><li>Process bi-weekly payroll.</li><li>Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including financial reporting.</li><li>Prepare year-end working papers for internal review and coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely completion of annual financial statements.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support job estimating and project tracking.</li><li>Provide general office administration and reception support as required.</li></ul><b><i>Qualifications</i></b><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of full-cycle <span >bookkeeping/accounting</span> experience.</li><li>Experience in construction, forestry, or industrial services preferred.</li><li>Post-secondary accounting education; CPA, CGA, or CA designation is an asset but not required.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounting software, Excel, and Office 365.</li><li>Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with team members across departments as needed.</li></ul><p><i>We appreciate the interest of all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</i><br /> </p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>BNbhuGKtE0</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
