<p>After School Program Tutor (Art & Language) – Job Description</p><p>Location: Markham, Ontario</p><p>About Us:</p><p>ArtiSonata Studio is seeking a passionate and responsible After School Tutor to join our creative education team. The tutor will lead engaging Art & Crafts and Language Learning (English or Chinese) sessions, provide homework support, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment for students aged 4–12.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Plan and conduct age-appropriate lessons and hands-on activities in art, crafts, and language learning.</li><li>Supervise and assist students with their homework.</li><li>Create a supportive and enjoyable classroom environment.</li><li>Prepare and manage teaching materials independently.</li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.</li></ul><p>*</p><p>Education & Experience:</p><ul><li>Enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Experience teaching or leading activities for children (an asset).</li><li>Strong communication and classroom management skills.</li><li>Responsible, patient, and creative.</li><li>University students are welcome to apply.</li></ul><p>*</p><ul><li>What We Offer</li><li>Supportive and friendly teaching environment.</li><li>Opportunities to gain hands-on teaching experience.</li></ul><p>*</p><p>Hourly Rate: $18 – $20 per hour (depending on experience).</p><p>Flexible schedule (Weekday evenings)</p><p>Job Types: Part-time</p><p>Expected hours: 3-5 per week</p><p>Work location: Markham, ON L3R 9Z4</p><p>To apply, please submit your portfolio and CV/resume via email to or include a link to your website.
