This position is project site based and may require travel outside of Ontario. Individual assignments will vary based on project scope, phase, and job requirements.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develops, maintains, updates, distributes and manages estimates.</li><li>Manages and monitors the critical path on the master schedule.</li><li>Identifies project-staffing needs and develops the overall plan for constructing the project.</li><li>Controls expenses and costs on the project and ensures billing is done accurately and in a timely fashion.</li><li>Monitors accounts receivable and contacts clients or subcontractors to determine reasons for non-payment.</li><li>Reviews and approves charges to the project.</li></ul><p><strong>Management Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures drawings are assembled, updated routinely and maintained.</li><li>Coordinates support functions including project start up with internal and external team members.</li><li>Manages risk exposures on the project and ensures equipment and supplies with a long lead-time are ordered.</li><li>Conducts daily meetings with Superintendent and regular meetings with subcontractors.</li><li>Leads, models appropriate behavior and ensures the AQM philosophy is followed throughout the project.</li><li>Approves subcontractor invoices for payment and manages all labor relations and jurisdiction.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field and 2 to 5 years experience in project engineering, construction project management or related activities with exposure to projects of moderate scope.</li><li>Previous experience as the lead construction manager on projects between $7-$15 million is strongly desired.</li></ul><p><em>Alberici Operating Companies:</em></p><p><em>Alberici Constructors, Inc., Alberici Constructors, LTD., Alberici Construcciones, BRC, CAS Constructors, Filanc, Flintco, Hillsdale Fabricators, Kienlen Constructors, and WWPS</em></p></p></p>
