Salary: $16.50 - $21.50 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience)
Centennial Carstar Truro is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Auto Body Prepper!
NOW HIRING: Auto Body Prepper
LOCATION: Centennial Carstar, Truro, NS
HOURS: Full time, Permanent. Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week.
WAGES: $16.50 - $21.50 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience)
THE PERFECT FIT:
Youre a motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and customer service focused individual who works well in a team environment. You have previous experience as an automotive prepper, or experience in a similar field, and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction.
APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be reliable and show initiative
- Applicant must be capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Canadian drivers license
- You are physically capable of doing the job which includes frequently bending, crouching, reaching. You are also able to handle tools and lift approximately 50lbs.
- Previous experience is necessary. Additional training will be provided.
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare the vehicle for paint after the Body Technicians finish the repairs to a vehicle.
- Sanding
- Application of primer base coat colour and clear coat
- Masking of vehicles
- Moving vehicles in and out of shop
- Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions
