MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking an Automation Professional to join our team in our Saskatoon office. We will also consider candidates to work in our MPE Regina office.

As an automation professional, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry leading services to our clients throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada. The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is desirable.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware.
  • Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks.
  • Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support.

What Makes You Unique

  • Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGS/TPSK.
  • Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
  • Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
  • Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
