As a certified Top Fleet Employer, we can confidently say you’ll be joining a team of dedicated, professional Drivers who have a passion for our iconic brand. </p><p>At Tim Hortons Distribution, we understand the importance of work/life balance, which is why as a Driver, you will typically work 4 days a week and know your schedule well in advance.</p><p>The schedule is primarily a nightshift linehaul position, however, drivers may be required to provide coverage for other runs, including deliveries, and therefore the schedule may be adjusted as required.</p><p>This job entails a mix of city & highway driving between London and Guelph and within Southwestern Ontario.</p><p>This position is based out of our <strong>London yard </strong>located at 1525 Wilton Grove Road, London.</p><p><strong>What we do:</strong></p><p>Our drivers safely deliver dry and temperature-controlled products to Tim Hortons restaurants in <strong>London and surrounding area. </strong>We operate 7 days per week nearly 24 hours per day using a variety of trailer sizes to meet delivery demands and constraints.</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Completing Tim Hortons restaurant deliveries while operating Company equipment in a safe and professional manner at all times</li><li>Providing outstanding customer service and support to restaurant employees</li><li>Performing Pre/Post- trip inspections to ensure TDL fleet standards are met</li><li>Completing all appropriate regulatory and Company documentation</li><li>Safely operating on-board truck computers</li><li>Offloading products using a powered tailgate and powered driver walkie</li><li>Verifying order accuracy and assisting store employees with bringing the products into the restaurant</li><li>Handling inquiries and or concerns from owners/customers professionally</li><li>Ensuring food safety and food defense standards are followed</li><li>Responsible for general cleaning and yard duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid AZ driver&#39;s license with <strong>at least 1 year </strong>of experience operating AZ vehicles</li><li>Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR</li><li>Experience with operating lift truck / powered walkie, powered tailgate and B-Train, is preferred</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Both verbal and written)</li><li>Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)</li><li>Ability to work in all types of weather and road conditions</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Starting from your first day you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:</p><ul><li>Medical</li><li>Extended Health Care Benefits</li><li>Out of Country Medical</li><li>Prescription Medication</li><li>Dental</li><li>Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Children</li><li>AD&D Insurance for Employee, Spouse, and Children</li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance for the Employee</li><li>Pension and RRSP plans</li><li>Paid personal days</li><li>Employee Share Purchase Program</li><li>Fitness Subsidy Benefit</li><li>Uniform and boot allowance</li><li>Engagement-oriented culture</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Compensation:  </strong></p><p>Starting hourly rate of (Starting Hourly Rate) with progressive increases over 3 years to current top rate of (Top Hourly Rate) (not including applicable premium(s).</p><p>This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policy / program / plan, based on individual and company performance metrics. </p><p> </p><p>RBI and its subsidiaries use automated tools, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance candidate experience, help review applications and support the hiring process.
