Our communities are among the best places to live in Western Canada. </p><p>Our Vision: For every person to feel at home. </p><p>This is truly supported by our credo. “Let us welcome you home.” All of us here feel it is an honor to work with our residents and we advocate a resident-centered approach where the Resident, is the focus of all our endeavors. <br><br>Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to residents.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Transporting residents to scheduled activities and other scheduled destinations as applicable</li><li>Assists residents during boarding and exiting the vehicle, and when they cross the street when the vehicle is stopped to ensure their safety.</li><li>Operates the vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws, organizational policies, and licensing requirements. </li><li>Ensuring the maintenance of the bus such as filling the gas tank and windshield washer fluid, checking tire pressure and checking the oil. </li><li>Ensures vehicles are regularly cleaned and sanitized, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.</li><li>Supports all related tasks during resident outings to ensure the continuity and the quality of the services.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean drivers record</li><li>1-2 years of experience as a driver.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Experience in customer service is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Conditions of Employment </strong></p><ul><li>Clear Drivers Abstract</li><li>Valid CPR and First Aid </li><li>Clear Criminal Record Check </li><li>Clear Vulnerable Sector Check </li></ul><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>h2ra7NYXTo</p></p></p>
