With a focus on sustainability, reliability, and performance, REHAU develops products that make homes, buildings, and infrastructure more efficient and durable.</p><p>We are seeking a driven and strategic <strong>Business Development Manager</strong> to grow our presence in the <strong>Greater Toronto Area</strong> and surrounding <strong>Ontario</strong> market.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The <strong>Business Development Manager (BDM)</strong> is responsible for promoting and selling REHAU’s full catalog of mechanical and plumbing products—including <strong>plumbing, residential fire protection, radiant heating, snow/ice melt, pre-insulated piping, and geoexchange systems</strong>.</p><p>The BDM plays a key role in expanding market share, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through direct sales, distributor partnerships, and specifications with engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and grow sales in the assigned territory (Greater Toronto Area and Ontario region).</li><li>Promote REHAU’s complete range of products to engineers, contractors, distributors, and manufacturers’ representatives.</li><li>Research and assess market potential; develop and execute territory sales plans.</li><li>Identify and pursue commercial and residential project opportunities to generate new business.</li><li>Build, manage, and maintain strong customer and partner relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.</li><li>Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product training sessions for industry partners.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales Management, Marketing, and Technical Services—to support customer needs and regional goals.</li><li>Track opportunities, projects, and customer interactions in <strong>Salesforce.com</strong>.</li><li>Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets established by the Sales Incentive Plan.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; relevant trade or technical experience may be considered.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of business development or sales experience</strong> within the <strong>plumbing, hydronics, or construction</strong> industry.</li><li>Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and developing long-term client relationships.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); <strong>Salesforce</strong> experience preferred.</li><li>Must hold a valid <strong>driver’s license</strong> and be able to travel up to <strong>50–60%</strong> within the region.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive base salary <strong>($80,000–$85,000 CAD)</strong> plus <strong>performance-based incentive plan</strong>.</li><li>Comprehensive <strong>benefits package</strong> (health, dental, vision, life insurance, RRSP matching, and more).</li><li>Paid vacation and company holidays.</li><li>Opportunities for <strong>professional growth</strong> in a global organization.</li><li>Inclusive, collaborative culture that values innovation and employee well-being.</li></ul><p><strong>Accessibility & Equal Opportunity</strong></p><p>REHAU is committed to creating an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process in accordance with the <strong>Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)</strong> and the <strong>Ontario Human Rights Code</strong>.<br />Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment process.</p><p>REHAU is an <strong>equal opportunity employer</strong>.
