Job Description <p>Job Description<p>Job Title: Carpenter Helper<p>Job Description </p><p>Join our team as a Carpenter Helper/Apprentice for a wood frame project in Langley. This role requires someone who can work independently with minimal direction, performing various tasks such as site cleanup, cutting and measuring materials, and protecting floors and patio doors. You will also be responsible for taking down temporary drywall and constructing temporary doors as the project progresses. </p><p>Responsibilities </p><ul><li>Perform site cleanup and maintain a tidy work environment. </li><li>Measure and cut materials accurately. </li><li>Protect floors and patio doors during construction. </li><li>Take down and reinstall temporary drywall. </li><li>Construct temporary doors as needed. </li> </ul><p>Essential Skills </p><ul><li>General labor and construction experience. </li><li>Proficiency in carpentry and the use of hand and power tools. </li><li>2+ years of experience as a skilled laborer or carpenter helper. </li><li>Ability to work with cutting and measuring tools. </li><li>Ownership of a tool belt and essential hand tools (e.G., tape measure, hammer). </li> </ul><p>Additional Skills & Qualifications </p><ul><li>Possession of a forklift ticket is a plus. </li> </ul><p>Why Work Here? </p><p>This project offers a transit-accessible location in Langley, with opportunities for continued work in the new year as additional scope gaps arise.
