**Key Responsibilities**

As a vital member of the store team, you will ensure a positive customer experience while maintaining store efficiency. Your duties will include:

• Ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
• Accurately recording customer transactions via electronic cash registers, mainline registers, and self-checkouts (SCOs).
• Handling the sale of regulated items (Tobacco and Lottery) in strict compliance with all policies.
• Replenishing merchandise in and around the checkout area.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe checkout work area.
• Following all Health and Safety policies and guidelines.
• Adhering to Loss Prevention best practices.

**Physical Requirements**

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, you must be able to meet the following physical demands (reasonable accommodations may be made):

• Standing and/or walking for extended periods.
• Bending, twisting, and squatting.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
• Reaching above shoulder height and below waist level.
• Performing tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
• Operating equipment, including the use of a ladder.

**Work Schedule**

• **Position Type:** Part-Time
• **Hours:** Up to 24 hours weekly.
• **Shift Availability:** Schedules typically consist of a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.
