<p><b>Job Title:</b> Change & Risk Management Specialist</p><p><b>Location:</b> Hybrid (2–3 days in office, HAMILTON*)</p><p><b>Hours:</b> 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)</p><p><b>Duration:</b> 6 months (with potential extension)</p><p><b>Start Date:</b> ASAP</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role:</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b>Change & Risk Management Specialist</b> to support the successful implementation of new technology solutions and organizational transformation initiatives. This role combines strong change management expertise with risk and compliance awareness, focusing on stakeholder engagement, business impact analysis, and effective communication to drive adoption across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key influencers, role dynamics, and organizational constraints.</li><li>Perform change impact assessments to evaluate how new processes or technologies affect business units and end users.</li><li>Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to assess process criticality, dependencies, and potential risk exposures.</li><li>Develop and execute resistance management plans to address adoption challenges and accelerate change acceptance.</li><li>Establish and maintain stakeholder engagement channels to share information, raise awareness, and solicit input.</li><li>Draft clear and professional corporate communications to inform and align employees and leadership on change initiatives.</li><li>Design and deliver training resources, workshops, and awareness sessions to support adoption.</li><li>Partner with IT, risk management, and project teams to embed change and risk management practices into project delivery.</li><li>Track adoption metrics, provide progress reporting, and recommend adjustments as needed.</li><li>Capture lessons learned and best practices to strengthen future change programs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience in change management, risk management, or organizational transformation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) and risk management methodologies.</li><li>Experience performing BIA and supporting risk assessments in technology-driven projects.</li><li>Proven ability to develop communications and training tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to translate insights into actionable plans.</li><li>Experience in regulated or public sector environments is an asset.</li><li>Certifications such as <b>Prosci, PMP, CISM, or CRISC</b> are desirable.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Work Arrangement:</b></p><ul><li>Hybrid: 2 days in office (Tuesdays & Wednesdays); in January, alternating weeks of 2–3 days in office.</li></ul><p></p>
