The ideal candidate will oversee the company\'s financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial guidance to support growth initiatives. We are seeking a Comptroller to become an integral part of our team. You will oversee financial activities and personnel and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting and tax provision standards in Canada and the US.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial processes.</li><li>Collaborate with senior management and project managers to provide strategic financial insights, budgeting, and recommendations.</li><li>Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments.</li><li>Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques.</li><li>Conduct internal process audits.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and state regulations.</li><li>Serve as primary contact for external auditors.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with a CMA or CPA designation is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience, 5-7 years, as a Comptroller or in a similar financial management role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly QBO and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Process-oriented.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li><li>Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.</li><li>Strong leadership qualities.</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Deadline and detail-oriented.</li></ul><h3>Salary and Benefits</h3><ul><li>Salary Range : $100,000 - $150,000.</li><li>An additional $8,000 per quarter KPI dependent bonus structure.</li><li>Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life.</li></ul><h3>Why Join Wipebook Corporation?</h3><ul><li>Be part of an innovative company committed to sustainability and creativity.</li><li>Competitive Salary.</li><li>Attractive bonus structure.</li><li>Full Benefits.</li><li>Work in a collaborative and supportive environment.</li><li>Remote work.</li><li>Flexible hours.</li></ul><h3>Company Description</h3><p>Wipebook creates tools that transform problem-solving.
