Title: Construction helper Wages: 26.50 hourly, 35 to 40 hours / week Position: 2 Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma Language: English Position: Full-time/ Permanent Employment Conditions: Day, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning Location StreetSurrey, BC V3T 3P3 Job duties: Load, unload and transport construction materials, Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, Mix, pour and spread materials, Assist heavy equipment operators, Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Pave and rake asphalt, Assist in demolishing buildings, Clean and pile salvaged materials, Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, Direct traffic at or near construction sites Work site environment Outdoors At heights Confined spaces Dangerous Dusty Cold/refrigerated Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Manual dexterity Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Visible minorities, Youth are encouraged to apply.
