Interior Community Services (ICS) is on the lookout for an inspiring and strategic Executive Officer (EO) to lead our nonprofit organization into its next chapter. Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Board to set and execute ICS’s strategic vision
  • Oversee operational planning, budgeting, compliance, and risk management
  • Lead senior managers and ensure service quality across program areas
  • Represent ICS with funders, government, and community partners
  • Foster a culture of equity, inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotational basis as part of the on-call team

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • A big-picture thinker with a heart for social impact
  • A confident leader skilled in navigating complex systems and communities
  • An experienced nonprofit executive with a track record in strategic planning, financial oversight, and quality and change management
  • A relationship-builder who communicates with clarity, warmth, and purpose

What You Bring

  • A degree in Social Work, Business, Public Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally within the nonprofit or social services sector
  • Expertise in financial management, HR practices, risk oversight, and policy development
  • Proven success working with boards and managing diverse teams
  • A Class 5 driver’s license, a reliable vehicle with business insurance, and relevant safety certifications (or willingness to complete them)

Compensation

Wage: $145,853–$162,757
