Financial Analyst – Accounts Receivable



Exciting one-year opportunity in the insurance industry for an experienced financial professional skilled in full-cycle accounts receivable. This hybrid role based in Markham offers hands-on work with Oracle Fusion, monthly reconciliations, and process improvements within a dynamic finance operations team.



What is in it for you:




• Salaried: $50 per hour.


• Incorporated Business Rate: $57 per hour.


• 12-month contract.


• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.


• Wednesdays and Thursdays mandatory in-office.


• One additional day flexible.


• 50% in-office overall.



Responsibilities:




• Manage full-cycle accounts receivables finance operations.


• Track daily AR activities and perform month-end general ledger bookings.


• Reconcile monthly AR transactions and period-end AR positions.


• Prepare journal entries and conduct variance analysis as needed.


• Collaborate with Billing Operations teams on investigations and reporting.


• Assess and enhance accounting operations for accounts receivable.


• Improve documentation and implement process enhancements within AR finance processes.



What you will need to succeed:




• Accounting designation required (CGA, CMA, or CPA).


• 3 years of experience in accounting operations and reconciliations.


• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data volumes.


• Effective problem-solving skills, particularly in investigating variances and reconciliations.


• Experience with AR subledger systems and Oracle Fusion.
