AIM takes pride in contributing to a greener, more sustainable future by doing good things for the environment and always aiming for excellence.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.</li><li>Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.</li><li>Analyze production costs and recommend cost reduction initiatives.</li><li>Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure profitability.</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.</li><li>Oversee internal and external audits.</li><li>Identify and mitigate financial risks.</li><li>Manage and mentor the finance team.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a controller.</li><li>Experience in the industrial sector highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.</li><li>Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and tools.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>High level of integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive annual salary, vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching program.</li><li>Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependent.</li><li>Tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development.</li><li>A dynamic and rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun.</li></ul></p>
