Emterra is proud to be recognized as one of Canada's Greenest<br>Employers, a certified diverse supplier of the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority<br>Supplier Council (CAMSC), the Canadian Women Business Enterprise National<br>Council (WBE) and WEConnect International.</p><p><b><br><br></b></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Work under limited supervision and performs tasks<br> according to written instructions and established procedures.</li><li>Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance<br> services.</li><li>Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of<br> electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and<br> equipment.</li><li>Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to<br> interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.</li><li>Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs<br> and requisition new parts.</li><li>Perform all work within Standard Repair Times<br> (SRTs).</li><li>Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.</li><li>Conduct safety checks on vehicles.</li><li>Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet<br> maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles,<br> documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.</li><li>Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project<br> work.</li><li>Review, complete or assign repairs identified on<br> Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with<br> Corporate / Worksafe Standards, and performs all work in accordance with<br> established safety procedures.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><b>Two (2) years</b> of relevant work experience, certified<br> <b>Red Seal Diesel Mechanic</b> is an asset.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.</li><li>Knowledge/ experience using RTA an asset</li><li>Valid driver's license and must have a clean driving<br> record, Class 3 Driver's Licence or higher is an asset.</li><li>Ability to perform physical requirements of the<br> position with or without reasonable accommodations.</li><li>Able to successfully pass a background check<br> consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license<br> verification and employment confirmation.</li></ul><p><b>Reasons to Apply, Stay and Grow with Emterra Group</b></p><ul><li>Opportunity to be part of one of Canada's Greenest Employers</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits (health, dental, and more depending on what you choose)</li><li>Employee Assistance Program, paid for by the company</li><li>Be part of an entrepreneurial organization that wants to continue to learn and grow</li><li>Ability to have an impact and make a change </li></ul><p>Are you ready to jumpstart your<br>career by joining one of Canada's Greenest Employers and become part of the<br>environmental solution?
