<p>Crossing Hurdles is a global recruitment consultancy - partnering with a rapidly scaling, well-funded <b>fintech startup</b> that is transforming how consumer brands manage cash, credit, and financial operations. <b>With hundreds of customers, $1B+ in GMV, and $42M in funding</b>, the company offers modern banking, smart credit, and automation that replaces manual treasury and FP&A work-making this a rare opportunity to join a high-growth fintech building category-defining products.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Role:</b> Founding Recruiter</p><p><b>Location:</b> 5 days in-office in Toronto/ New York</p><p><b>Compensation:</b> $140K-$180K + Competitive equity</p><p><b>Benefits:</b> Generous paid time off, along with a comprehensive health and benefits package.</p><p><b>Visa:</b> Not available</p><p><br></p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, GTM, and operations roles.</li><li>Partner with founders and hiring managers on role definition and hiring strategy.</li><li>Build strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and outreach.</li><li>Ensure an excellent candidate experience while tracking and improving hiring metrics.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>4+ years of recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments</b></li><li>Strong technical recruiting background with the ability to flex into GTM hiring</li><li>Proven ability to source and close passive candidates from top-tier tech companies</li><li>Experience as an early recruiting hire, scaling teams and processes from the ground up</li><li>Prior experience in fintech, AI, or early-stage start-up environments</li></ul><p></p>
