About Us:
Abbey’s Bakehouse is a warm and welcoming café and bakery known for handcrafted drinks, fresh-baked treats, and outstanding customer service. We're expanding at Square One Mall and are looking for a dedicated Shift Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house team.
Role Overview:
As Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, leading by example, and ensuring a positive customer and team experience during your shifts. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high service standards while assisting with team training, scheduling, and day-to-day problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate staff during shifts to deliver excellent service
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Open and/or close the store following proper procedures
- Monitor product quality, cleanliness, and store presentation
- Assist with inventory, supply management, and cash handling
- Address customer concerns and resolve minor issues promptly
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in a café, bakery, or food service environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
