POSITION SUMMARY:  Â
The Marketing & Design Assistant plays a key role in supporting our creative and marketing initiatives across print, digital, and web. This in-office position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-driven, and eager to grow their design and content skills in a fast-paced environment. Â
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Â
Assist our in-house Design & Marketing team with: Â
• Creating and formatting brochures, flyers, stickers, business cards, and product  catalogues Â
• Designing and preparing social media posts and promotional materials Â
• Formatting design assets using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop Â
• Ensuring visual consistency and clean layout across all materials Â
Document & Digital Formatting: Â
• Create fillable PDFs Â
• Format proposals, Word documents, and templates Â
• Prepare visually strong PowerPoint presentations Â
• Assist with updating and editing content on our WIX websiteÂ
 Â
Marketing Operations & Ordering Support: Â
• Place orders for: Â
• Marketing supplies Â
• Promotional materials Â
• Print items (flyers, brochures, labels, etc.) Â
• Liaise with print shops and suppliers Â
• Track invoices and receipts Â
• Pick up local marketing supplies or print orders (personal vehicle required) Â
Administrative & Project Coordination Support: Â
• Support the Design & Marketing team with day-to-day coordination tasks Â
• Help organize digital files, project folders, and creative assets Â
• Assist with trade show preparation and materials Â
• Perform other duties and creative projects as assigned Â
QUALIFICATIONS Â
Technical & Creative Skills Â
• Basic proficiency in WIX Â
• Proficient in Adobe softwares such as Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop Â
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e Power Point, Word and Excel) Â
• Strong understanding of visual layout, typography, and branding principles Â
Professional Skills Â
• High attention to detail and strong sense of organization Â
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced creative environment Â
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities Â
• Valid driver’s license (G or G2) and access to a vehicle Â
 Â
EDUCATION Â
Diploma or coursework in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred Â
WORKING CONDITIONS:  Â
Office environment with extended periods working on a computer Â
  Frequent use of design software and creative applications Â
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a design-focused team Â
Must be able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Â
