This role plays a critical part in testing, commissioning, and servicing custom HVAC systems both in-house and at customer sites. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and client service, with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability.</p><p><br><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Test HVAC units to ensure full functionality prior to deployment</li><li>Start-up and commission HVAC systems at client sites</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, components, and electrical systems</li><li>Detect and repair refrigerant leaks; recharge systems as needed</li><li>Perform pipe or tubing joint testing using pressure gauges</li><li>Accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams</li><li>Train apprentices, customers, and site technicians on our systems</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships</li><li>Maintain accurate service records and documentation</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Certified Journeyman Refrigeration (or equivalent)</li><li>Alberta Gasfitter A or B Ticket (strong asset)</li><li>Alberta Electrician Ticket (strong asset)</li><li>Valid drivers license with a clean abstract</li><li>Canadian residency (required)</li><li>Ability to travel within Canada and to the USA (valid passport required)</li><li>Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent reading, numeracy, and critical thinking abilities</li><li>Proficient with computer systems and diagnostic tools</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive Wages Based on experience and trade tickets</li><li>Comprehensive Health, Dental & Vision Coverage Premiums fully paid by ICE Western</li><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>RRSP Matching Plan</li><li>Educational Assistance</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>Company Events and Team Initiatives</li><li>Free On-Site Parking</li><li>Fully Equipped Service Van, Gas Card & Travel Credit Card</li><li>Company Cell Phone & Laptop Provided</li><li>Paid Training & Professional Development</li><li>All Safety Gear Provided</li><li>No On-Call Schedule</li></ul></p></p>
