As we expand, we are creating new opportunities for our team.</p><p>This role may evolve to include the oversight and management of an external IT managed service provider (MSP), ensuring seamless collaboration and strategic alignment between our internal needs and their services.</p><p><b>What We Offer Our Employees</b></p><ul><li>Opportunities for growth and development</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (extended health, dental, long-term disability, and term life insurance)</li><li>Full-time positions for a stable work environment</li><li>No requirement to work Sundays, evenings, or statutory holidays</li><li>Advancement opportunities across Retail, Distribution, and Head Office</li></ul><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provide strategic oversight and management of the company's IT infrastructure and systems.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for any potential managed service provider, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.</li><li>Lead and participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technology solutions in collaboration with the MSP.</li><li>Manage internal IT-related projects and serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure IT strategies and technology solutions are aligned with overall business needs and support company goals.</li><li>Oversee Level 1 and 2 IT support functions, whether provided internally or by an MSP, for all employees and stores (onsite and remote).</li><li>Coordinate the resolution of technical support issues (PCs, applications, networking, printers, etc.) with the managed service provider.</li><li>Oversee the continuous improvement of IT support functions.</li><li>Manage the tracking of IT assets and enforce inventory management guidelines (desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment).</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business operations.</li><li>Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills when working with all stakeholders.</li><li>Exhibit excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer service skills.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of related experience in an IT Manager or similar leadership role.</li><li>Proven experience in vendor management and managing relationships with external service providers.</li><li>Strong strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.</li><li>Experience with VMware/ Hyper-V and vSphere (an asset).</li><li>Experience migrating VMware/Hyper-V and Windows Servers (an asset).</li><li>Experience with ERP migration and implementation (an asset).</li><li>Strong professional demeanor and work ethic.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.</li><li>Experience communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-growth environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.</li><li>Patience and leadership to solve technical problems with end users of varying technical aptitudes.</li></ul><p></p>
