<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $70,000 and $85,000 <br /><p>Reports to:The Assistant Director of the Justice Division in the Presidents Department.</p><p>Job Location: Nunavikor Montreal</p><p>Benefits:<br />All marginal benefits available to Makivvik employees annually as outlined in the Makivvik Human Resources Policy Manual such as: Simplified Pension Plan, Vacation, Sick days, Isolation premium, Cargo allowance, Group Insurance</p><p>Gas allowance, Travel Benefit, Housing allowance.</p><p><br /></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage a team of fourteen (14) or more Local Justice Committee Coordinators in their daily duties;</li><li>Assign work and provide constructive feedback to team members;</li><li>Participate in meetings with government and / or outside organizations;</li><li>Organize training for all Justice Committee Coordinators and Members;</li><li>Communicate with local councils and authorities concerning the promotion of the program;</li><li>Manage relationships with outside partnersby communicating with them daily regarding the completion of referrals to our programs, including but not limited to, Crown Attorneys and Defense lawyers;</li><li>Serve as a link between the frontline workers and upper management;</li><li>Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and provide support to employees;</li><li>Act as a resource person regarding Inuit culture and traditions to government bodies and organizations, in matters relating to Justice;</li><li>Be available to travel, as requested;</li><li>Perform other related duties within the scope of the position or as requested by supervisor.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma;</li><li>Effective communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) languages: Inuktitut, English and/or French;</li><li>Good computer skills : Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);</li><li>Demonstrates management and leadership skills;</li><li>Inuit culture and traditions knowledge and understanding, is required;</li><li>Knowledge of the social, judicial or correctional field is an asset;</li><li>Experience in a management role with excellent communication and leadership skills;</li><li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills;</li><li>Be reliable, autonomous and of good moral character;</li><li>Security clearance, is required.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Training will be available for Beneficiaries in the advancement for their career.</em></p><p><em>Inuit Beneficiary hiring will always be a priority at Makivvik.</em></p><p><br /></p><p>Discover a unique opportunity and embark on arewarding career withMakivvik</p><p><br /></p><p>To learn more visit us <span >atwww.Makivvik.ca/jobsor</span> send your resume/application to:HR@makivvik.ca</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
