<p>Job Summary:<br><br>We are seeking dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our team. As a Restaurant Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction in our restaurant environment.</p><p>Responsibilities:<br><br>- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner<br><br>- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems<br><br>- Prepare and serve food and beverages following established recipes and presentation standards<br><br>- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations<br><br>- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines<br><br>- Upsell menu items and promote specials to customers<br><br>- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers<br><br>- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery</p><p>Experience:<br><br>- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred<br><br>- Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen operations, and food preparation techniques<br><br>- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment<br><br>- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations<br><br>- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer experience<br><br>- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately</p><p>Join our team as a Restaurant Staff member to contribute to a positive dining experience for our valued customers.</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $17.60-$22.53 per hour</p><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>Oshawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Secondary School (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Customer service: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>English (preferred)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Food Handler Certification (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
