As a 310T Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles, including trucks, buses and other recreational vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and have a commitment to ensuring all vehicles are in safe, efficient, and working condition.<br /><br /> Responsibilities <br /><br /> Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles (ex; trucks, buses, trailers, RV and other commercial equipment.<br /> Use testing and diagnostic equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.<br /> Inspect and perform tests on vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc) to ensure proper function.<br /> Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and air conditioning servicing.<br /> Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, including engine, drive-line, suspension, and electrical systems.<br /> Communicate with service advisors on progress and completion of repairs regularly.<br /> Complete service repair orders and accurately document, photograph and maintain records of work performed.<br /> Follow all health and safety regulations.<br /><br /> Qualifications <br /><br /> 310T Mechanic license is required.<br /> 2+ years' experience working as a mechanic on heavy duty vehicles.<br /> Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.<br /> Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.<br /> Knowledge of RV systems, generators considered an asset but is not required.<br /> Must have good verbal and written communication skills.<br /> Must have own tools and tool box.<br /> Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.<br /><br />Job Types: Full-time, Permanent<br /><br />Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Company events<br /> Dental care<br /> Disability insurance<br /> Extended health care<br /> Life insurance<br /> On-site parking<br /> Paid time off<br /> Store discount<br /> Vision care<br><br>Licence/Certification:<br /> 310T Mechanic License (required)<br /><br />Work Location: In personCreate Your Resume First
