Baker Hospital – Quesnel, BC</strong><br /><strong> </strong><br /><strong>Contract:</strong> ASAP – January 30, 2026<br /><strong>Shifts:</strong> Days and Nights (12-hour rotations)<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Quesnel, BC<br /><strong>Compensation:</strong><br /><ul><li><strong>T4:</strong> $42/hour</li><li><strong>Incorporated:</strong> $50/hour<br /><strong>Travel & Accommodations:</strong> Fully covered</li></ul><strong>About the Role</strong><br /> Our client is seeking a dedicated <strong>Licensed Practical Nurse</strong> to join the Acute and General Medical units at <strong>a Hospital</strong> in Quesnel. This short-term contract is ideal for an adaptable and confident LPN ready to step into a high-acuity environment and make an immediate impact.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br /><ul><li>Provide direct nursing care to acute and general medical patients.</li><li>Administer medications, including IV therapy, as per scope and policy.</li><li>Monitor, assess, and document patient progress accurately.</li><li>Support RNs and physicians in patient care delivery.</li><li>Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.</li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><br /><ul><li>Active and in good standing with <strong>BCCNM</strong> as an LPN.</li><li><strong>Minimum 1 year of recent acute or general medical experience.</strong></li><li>Competence in <strong>IV medication administration.</strong></li><li>Current <strong>BLS/CPR certification.</strong></li><li>Clear <strong>Criminal Record Check</strong> and <strong>Vulnerable Sector Check</strong> (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Up-to-date <strong>immunizations</strong> including proof of negative TB test.</li></ul><strong>Perks</strong><br /><ul><li>Travel and accommodations fully covered.</li><li>Competitive pay with T4 or incorporated options.</li><li>Gain valuable northern healthcare experience with Northern Health.</li></ul><br /><strong>Interested?
