Our technicians are critical to our business and, with a positive attitude and strong technical expertise, will continue to make Manitoulin Transport one of Canada&#39;s most successful LTL Carriers in the Industry.</p>Job Description<br><br><p>Position available in our Edmonton Garage for a Licensed Trailer Technician.  </p><p>Completing regular maintenance as well as yearly CVI inspections, as well as completing the required paperwork on vans, flat decks and converter dollies.</p><p>FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li><p>Remove and replace brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, races, and associated parts.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and lighting systems, and associated parts.</p></li><li><p>Repair or replace chassis components including springs, spring hangers, equalizers, complete slider assemblies, axles, subframes and their associated parts, air bags and air system components.</p></li><li><p>Repair or replace bumpers, bumper braces, mud flap brackets, dolly legs/ dolly leg assemblies, and any other associated part by means of welding or cutting with an oxy-acetylene torch.</p></li><li><p>Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors and door trim, and perform minor repairs to roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails, and all associated parts.</p></li><li><p>Clean your own personal area during and at the end of each shift.</p></li><li><p> Assist in performing any task outside those not listed in the primary job functions.</p></li><li><p>Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.</p></li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Licensed 310J Trailer Mechanic</li><li>Valid Drivers Licence</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>What do we offer you? </strong></p><ul><li>$450/year tool allowance</li><li>Shift Schedule</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Program</li><li>Profit Sharing Opportunities</li><li>Opportunities for growth and advancement</li><li><strong>Perks - Discounted Hotels, Gym Memberships, Phone Plans, Discounts at Major Car Dealerships across Canada</strong></li></ul></p></p>
