<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b><strong>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></b></p><p>·         Set-up and operate to prescribed tolerances: conventional engine lathes and milling, grinding, drilling, tapping, sawing, boring machines and some assembly work.</p><p>·         Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional machine tools</p><p>·         Compute dimensions and tolerances and confirm compliance of work pieces</p><p>·         Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using jigs and precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers, etc.)</p><p>·         Fit and assemble components and machined parts to close tolerance</p><p>·         Clean and maintain production machinery and tools</p><p>·         Maintain and repair machine tools, parts, jigs and fixtures</p><p>·         Help sustain and continually improve 5S practices</p><p>·         Requisition spare parts and perishable tools/indexable components as required</p><p>·         Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances</p><p><b><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></b></p><p>·         Certified Machinist</p><p>·         Minimum 2 years’ experience</p><p>·         Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables</p><p>·         Ability to communicate clearly, will be required to interact with other shop departments and Engineering staff</p><p>·         Ability to independently work through problems that arise, relying on prior exposure, experience and established <span >procedures/policies</span> to determine the most appropriate course of action</p><p>·         The incumbent understands, respects and adheres to the workplace Health and Safety rules and regulations and monitors co-workers adherence as well.</p><p><b><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></b></p><p>Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM</p></p>Company Description<p>Totall Attachments Equipment Corporation manufactures specialized forklift attachments that facilitate material handling capabilities of standard forklifts.
