Job Description

<p>Our client, a Canadian defense contractor specializing in Manufacturing and Textiles, is in search of a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer.<br></p>

<br><p><b><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></b><br></p><p> <br>• Lead production launch by developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, as well as identifying and procuring appropriate tooling and equipment.<br></p><p><br>• Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to plant management.<br></p><p><br>• Promote and support LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, including self-balancing cells activities.<br></p><p><br>• Develop incentive program for production.<br></p><p><br>• Develop and prepare work instructions, charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.<br></p><p><b><b>Job Requirements:</b></b><br></p><p> <br>• Excellent understanding of manufacturing engineering principles, methods, and planning.<br></p><p><br>• Preferred experience in textile manufacturing engineering, but open to candidates with experience in other manufacturing environments.<br></p><p><br>• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office, with general computer applications skills.<br></p><p><br>• Strong process-oriented mindset.<br></p><p><b><b>What you will get in return:</b></b><br></p><p>· Professional and supportive work environment <br></p><p><b><b> </b></b><br></p><p><b><b>What you need to do now:</b></b><br></p><p>·Apply online or visit<b> </b><br></p><p><b>We thank all applicants but due to the volume of applications, we will only be in touch with qualified candidates to discuss next steps.</b><br></p>
