(Or read on to get details of who we're looking for)</p><p> </p><p><b>You should be passionate and knowledgeable about:</b></p><ul><li>Electronics manufacturing - PCBA and mechanical assembly</li><li>Industrialization</li><li>New product introduction (NPI)</li><li>Supplier management</li><li>Manufacturing quality management</li></ul><p><b>You should have experience some or all the following:</b></p><ul><li>Project management</li><li>Lean manufacturing</li><li>Experience working with contract electronics manufacturers</li><li>Figures of merit to assess manufacturing performance. </li><li>Automated testing and fixturing</li><li>Supplier quality management</li><li>Fulfillment, warehousing, transportation and distribution</li><li>Customer service</li><li>Manufacturing cost accounting</li></ul><p><b>And this is what we'd expect of you:</b></p><ul><li>Introduce new offers from engineering into manufacturing</li><li>Negotiate pricing and terms w/ suppliers</li><li>Manage production forecast</li><li>Set-up and manage downstream supply chain including transportation, warehousing and distribution</li><li>Continuously optimize costs: material, labour, overhead, etc.</li><li>Manage manufacturing and supply chain quality</li><li>Manage supplier quality, issue and follow up on corrective actions</li><li>Manage customer quality including RMAs and respond to customer corrective actions</li><li>Develop manufacturing processes, both manual and automated, to ensure high process capability and repeatability and exceptional product quality</li><li>Meet with new and existing suppliers to explore opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement</li><li>Arrange for engineering prototypes as required</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Experience requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Electronics manufacturing (5 years)</li><li>Industrialization (5 years)</li><li>New product introduction (5 years)</li><li>Supplier management (5 years)</li><li>Manufacturing quality management (5 years)</li></ul><p><b>Language requirement</b> </p><ul><li>English: Professional</li><li>French: Professional (preferred)</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Interview process</b></p><p>The hiring process for this position will consist of 3 interviews:</p><ul><li>1st interview with HR representative - 20 minutes via Google Meet - General discussion, confirmation of interest</li><li>2nd interview with the department's head - 30 minutes via Google Meet - General technical discussion</li><li>3rd interview with your future colleagues and supervisor - 1 hour on-site - In-depth technical discussion + tour of the office</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>You will be part of an experienced start-up team where:</b></p><ul><li>Your voice will be heard and you will feel the impact of your work;</li><li>You won't lose time in endless meetings or presentations;</li><li>You will work hard and have fun doing it.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul><p><b>Work Environment</b></p><ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Hybrid environment</li><li>4 weeks of Paid time off</li></ul><p><b>Work location</b></p><ul><li>425 rue Guy, suite 210, Montréal, QC H3J 1S9</li><li>We expected people to come a majority of their time to the office</li><li>Bus stops for lines 35, 36, and 71 are just outside the office.
