<p><b>Job Title:</b> Epic Security Consultant (Multiple Modules)</p><p><b>Location:</b> Remote </p><p><b>Position Type:</b> Contract </p><p><b>Experience Required:</b> 3+ Years in Epic Security Administration</p><p><b>Certification:</b> Epic Security Certification (Mandatory)</p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>We are looking for experienced and certified <b>Epic Security Consultants</b> to support various Epic modules including <b>Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Willow (Inpatient & Retail), Professional Billing (PB) & Claims, and Ambulatory</b>.</p><p>The consultant will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Epic Security configurations and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p>· Design, configure, and maintain <b>Epic Security templates, roles, and user profiles</b>.</p><p>· Collaborate with application teams to ensure proper access across modules:</p><p>o <b>Epic Cadence & Prelude:</b> Scheduling, registration, and patient flow access control.</p><p>o <b>Epic Grand Central:</b> Admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) workflows.</p><p>o <b>Epic Willow (Inpatient & Retail):</b> Medication management and pharmacy workflows.</p><p>o <b>Epic Professional Billing (PB) & Claims:</b> Revenue cycle and billing access design.</p><p>o <b>Epic Ambulatory:</b> Outpatient clinical workflows and provider security.</p><p>· Manage <b>user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access audits</b> across environments.</p><p>· Ensure <b>compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and internal information security policies.</b></p><p>· Provide <b>production support</b> for user access issues and maintain documentation.</p><p>· Support <b>system upgrades, testing, and integration activities</b> related to security.</p><p>· Participate in <b>security audits, reviews, and reporting</b> activities.</p><p>· Work closely with project teams to define and enforce <b>role-based access controls (RBAC).</b></p><p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications:</b></p><p> <b>Epic Security Certification</b> — Mandatory</p><p> Minimum <b>3 years of hands-on Epic Security experience</b> across multiple modules</p><p> Practical knowledge in:</p><p>· Epic <b>Cadence & Prelude</b></p><p>· Epic <b>Grand Central</b></p><p>· Epic <b>Willow (Inpatient & Retail)</b></p><p>· Epic <b>Professional Billing (PB) and Claims</b></p><p>· Epic <b>Ambulatory</b></p><p> Proven experience with <b>template and role configuration, access audits, and troubleshooting.</b></p><p> Strong understanding of <b>Epic user provisioning processes</b> and <b>workflow-based security.</b></p><p> Experience coordinating with cross-functional module teams and compliance departments.</p><p>Excellent documentation, communication, and analytical skills.</p><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><p>· Experience in <b>Epic upgrade or implementation projects.</b></p><p>· Familiarity with <b>Epic Reporting Workbench</b> for audit reporting.</p><p>· Knowledge of <b>Active Directory or Identity Management (IDM)</b> integration with Epic.</p><p>· Understanding of <b>inpatient and retail workflows</b> for appropriate access control setup.</p><p></p>Create Your Resume First
