Apply now with your resume and a cover letter highlighting your unique qualifications.</p><p>As a Network and IoT Specialist, you will be the backbone of our network and IoT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security.</p><p>As our <strong>Network and IoT Specialist</strong> you:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, switches, virtual machines (VMs), and servers.</li><li>Address Layer 3 (L3) networking challenges and perform advanced system administration tasks.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.</li><li>Maintain high standards for network security and connectivity, ensuring the integrity of the network infrastructure.</li><li>Configure, test, commission, and support IoT devices, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the network.</li><li>Provide L3 support for managed network and IoT devices, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Work closely with Solution Architects to develop and implement robust, scalable network solutions.</li><li>Maintain detailed and accurate records of all network changes, configurations, and updates to ensure comprehensive documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Our ideal candidate has</strong>:</p><ul><li>3-5 years of relevant experience in configuring and managing network infrastructure or in a relevant domain.</li><li>Proficiency in networking protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, IGMP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS.</li><li>Relevant enterprise certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, ECSE, etc., are highly desirable.</li><li>Strong background in cloud deployment and architecture.</li></ul><ul><li>Willingness to travel within Canada as required to support network deployment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with team members and clients on-site.</li><li>Competence in setting up and configuring server hardware.</li><li>Expertise in IoT, including:<ul><li>Architecture and system design.</li><li>Security principles.</li><li>Hardware and sensor technology.</li><li>Building management systems and RTLS.</li></ul></li><li>Exceptional problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Clear and effective communication skills.</li><li>Construction industry experience preferred.</li></ul></p></p>
