Position: Administrative Assistant
Opportunity
Smith's Water Delivery, located in Campden, ON is seeking to fill the following position:
Part Time Administrative Assistant for Monday – Friday, including a 2 Saturday-per-month rotation
Responsibilities will include;
· Answering incoming calls in a professional manner
· Providing quotes to customers
· Receive and dispatch orders for deliveries
· Enter data into internal system, maintain logs and records of calls, activities and customer information
· Closing of drivers' day end balancing, including POS entry and credit card settlements
· Receiving voice and email orders and preparing orders for the next business day
· Closing staff responsible for office closing procedures and lock up
Skills & Qualifications:
· 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role (Administration, Customer Service and Dispatch experience combined)
· Clear communication skills in both written and verbal
· Professional phone etiquette, and strong customer services skills
· Geographical knowledge of the Niagara Region with the ability to read maps
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite – specifically MS Excel
· Working knowledge of Sage Accounting is an asset
