<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><br /><strong>Organization:</strong> Non-Profit Organization within the Interior Design industry<p></p><p><strong>Position Type:</strong> Part-time (25 hours/week)</p><p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p><p>A reputable non-profit organization in Alberta is seeking a dynamic part-time Executive Director. This role manages day-to-day operations, supports governance, oversees finances, handles membership services, and ensures effective communication. The Executive Director will advance the organization’s strategic plan, expand its profile, and represent the profession in Alberta.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• <strong>Administration:</strong> Facilitate information flow, prepare correspondence, coordinate departments, and manage the annual calendar.</p><p>• <strong>Governance:</strong> Organize board meetings, maintain governance documents, and support the Annual General Meeting.</p><p>• <strong>Financial Management:</strong> Oversee partnership agreements, support the Annual Audit, prepare financial statements, and assist with budget development.</p><p>• <strong>Membership:</strong> Handle membership correspondence, update records, manage renewals, track continuing education credits, and coordinate meetings.</p><p>• <strong>Communications:</strong> Update the website, manage social media, format newsletters, and distribute award information.</p><p>• <strong>Events:</strong> Drive educational programming, oversee logistics, manage budgets, and support event execution.</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably in Interior Design</p><p>• Office administration or organizational management experience</p><p>• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks</p><p>• Knowledge of basic accounting and business management</p><p>• Ability to work independently</p><p>• Familiarity with the relevant industry is a plus</p><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>• Association events</p><p>• Board support</p><p>• Flexible schedule</p><p>• Work from home policy</p><p></p><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p>• Daytime shift, Monday to Friday</p><p>• Occasional evening events (4 times/year)</p><p>• Travel between Calgary and Edmonton as needed</p></p></p></p>
