Career Opportunity

Village Nissan / Markham Infiniti, proud members of Drive Autogroup, are currently seeking an experienced and driven Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department.

The Parts Manager is responsible for the overall performance, leadership, and operational success of the department. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop their team, manage inventory and profitability, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Parts Department team to achieve performance and customer satisfaction goals
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, vendors, and external clients
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels, accuracy, and effective inventory control systems
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, departmental goals, and performance metrics
  • Review monthly sales and gross profit results and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate closely with the Service Manager to ensure timely parts availability
  • Oversee onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing development of Parts Department employees
  • Ensure accurate pricing, receiving, and inspection of all parts for quality and damage
  • Manage and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Work collaboratively with warranty clerks to administer warranty claims in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct regular department meetings to review performance, address challenges, and communicate objectives
  • Report departmental performance, goals, and achievements to senior management
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Parts Manager
  • Prior CDK experience a must
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an engaging attitude.
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to manage customer complaints and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures.
  • Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays as required.
