<p>Full job description</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.</li><li>Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and aftercare.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.</li><li>Handle pets safely and comfortably during the grooming process, using restraint techniques when necessary.</li><li>Lift and carry pets as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming session.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous experience in pet grooming is required minimum 1 year</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.</li><li>A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.</li><li>Attention to detail and a strong work ethic to ensure high standards of grooming are met.</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>dog grooming: 1 year (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
