We are professional, supportive, fast-paced and our goal is to find a great addition to grow our team</p><p>Petroleum Service Technician – based out of Edmonton, AB</p><p>MI Petro Service is a gas station service company that is seeking a <em>highly motivated, flexible, team player</em> with * <em>strong technical abilities</em> and <em>great customer service skills</em>* to join their team as a Petroleum Service Technician.</p><p><em>You will be accountable for:</em></p><ul><li>Maintenance of service stations, both corporate and independently operated.</li><li>Providing exceptional customer service.</li><li>Keeping accurate and orderly computer records.</li><li>Providing on-call support (rotating schedule).</li></ul><p><em>To be successful in this role you must have:</em></p><ul><li>2+ years previous retail petroleum maintenance experience is an asset but not required as highly motivated individuals with less experience will be considered</li><li>Personal set of hand tools (a service vehicle will be supplied after the training period)</li><li>Experience with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Able to work independently and travel to work sites throughout AB (occasionally different provinces)</li><li>Open availability</li><li>Excellent & enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to help wherever needed, e.g., pick up a shovel, cut & pour concrete.</li><li>Organized, self-motivated & punctual</li><li>Professional, courteous, customer-service orientation and attitude</li><li>Strong desire to be a contributing member to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team.</li><li>Passport with no restrictions - cross border travel may be required for training</li><li>Valid Canadian Driver's License</li><li>Training will be provided so any perceived petroleum maintenance education shortcomings can be rectified.</li></ul><p>A generous benefits package is offered, along with an aggressive salary commensurate with experience.</p><p>If you feel you are qualified for this opportunity, please submit your application through </p><p><em>We thank you for your interest, however only candidates who are most qualified for the position will be contacted.</em></p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Extended health care</li><li>RRSP match</li></ul><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>8 - 8+ hour shifts</li></ul><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><p>· reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)</p><p>Work Location: In person</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company car</li><li>Company events</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP match</li></ul><p>Work Location: On the road</p>
