<p><p>Join the Southern Health-Santé Sud team as a Physiotherapist. Our organization provides care for people at every point in their lives, partnering with communities to offer safe, accessible, and sustainable people-centered health care.</p><p>The Physiotherapist will operate with a high degree of independence as a member of a multidisciplinary regional rehabilitation team. The incumbent will participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of rehabilitation services, using a client-centered, goal-oriented approach for children and/or adult populations.</p><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>The Physiotherapist may also provide clinical supervision and training for students and provisional members and participates in the education of other health care professionals. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.</p><h3>Education and Certification</h3><ul><li>Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy (BMR - PT) or equivalent entry-level requirement in Physiotherapy.</li><li>Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba (CPM).</li><li>Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Skills</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook/Email.</li><li>Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated effective decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with management and staff within the region as well as appropriate outside vendors and agencies.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required.</li><li>Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats, and other mediums.</li><li>Good work and attendance record.</li><li>Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.</li><li>No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.</li><li>May work occasionally evenings and weekends as necessary.</li><li>Will be required to travel to other regional facilities as the position duties may require.</li></ul><p>Southern Health-Santé Sud is committed to increasing the representation of Indigenous people within all levels of our workforce.
