<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong><strong>Project Manager – ICI Ground-Up Construction (Ottawa)</strong></strong></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> $125,000 – $150,000 base + bonus + benefits<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Ottawa, Ontario</p><p>An established ICI contractor is seeking a Project Manager with strong ground-up and institutional experience to lead new build projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will oversee contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, subtrade coordination, and overall project delivery.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage full project lifecycle for ground-up ICI and institutional additions</p></li><li><p>Lead tendering, subcontractor award, budgeting, and cost control</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and progress reports</p></li><li><p>Coordinate structural, civil, envelope, mechanical, and electrical scopes</p></li><li><p>Oversee RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and all project documentation</p></li><li><p>Lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, and site teams</p></li><li><p>Ensure project delivery meets contractual, safety, and quality requirements</p></li><li><p>Support the Superintendent and site team through technical and operational challenges</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>5–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ICI new build construction</p></li><li><p>Proven track record delivering institutional, commercial, or municipal projects</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of contract frameworks, budgeting, and scheduling</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain organized project workflows</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities</p></li><li><p>Engineering or construction management background is an asset</p></li></ul></p></p>
