Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all materials and supplies are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics process from procurement to distribution.

This role requires strong vendor management skills, the ability to negotiate favorable terms, and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best pricing and quality for materials.
• Procure goods and services in alignment with company needs and production schedules.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that arise.
• Utilize software systems for tracking orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast material requirements based on production schedules.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals while optimizing costs.
• Monitor inventory levels using MRP systems to ensure adequate stock is maintained without over-purchasing.
• Assist in the fabrication process by coordinating with internal teams to meet production demands.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of purchasing and or logistics experience.
• Experience with MS Office Suite; particularity Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with customs procedures, commercial invoices, and certificate of origins.
