Receiving and Final InspectorShifts: Day shift, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Compensation: $23 to $25, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect precision machined parts using manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
- Inspect finished goods and outside services against specifications.
- Complete receiving and final inspections independently.
- Review and interpret certified material test reports.
- Review and interpret outside processing certificates of conformance.
- Segregate non-conforming parts and materials.
- Review and complete NCRs under direction of Quality Manager.
- Review and complete first article inspection reports.
- Understand and follow all elements of the quality management system.
- Read and interpret drawings and 3D model files.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 5+ years' experience required.
- Certificate of qualification, diploma or training in mechanical inspection an asset.
- Must understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Must have working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Solid computer skills and experience, including word processing, spreadsheet and ERP software.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
