<p><p>Employment Type: Temporary, Full-time Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2026 (with the possibility of extension)</p><p>Location</p><p>Compensation</p><p>Compensation Pay Class 18 (range of $33.23 to $41.58 per hour)</p><p><b>When applying, please include competition number 2025-83-TFR-04 in the email subject line.</b></p><h3>Duties and responsibilities</h3><p>Provide leadership and oversight to Recycling and Commercial Products & Services operations, ensuring efficient workflow processes, quality assurance, financial management, strong stakeholder relations and safe workplace practices.</p><p>Support employment and training opportunities for individuals experiencing disability or barriers to employment by developing inclusive work strategies and innovative approaches within recycling and commercial service activities.</p><p><b>Duties include:</b></p><ul><li>Supervise, guide, and support staff in all recycling, and commercial service operations, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Oversee facility operations, including equipment use and maintenance, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and reporting of production and diversion statistics to funders.</li><li>Develop and monitor budgets, analyze efficiencies, and implement improvements to maximize production and service delivery.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations, maintain operational and safety manuals, and coordinate staff training.</li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, waste haulers, contractors, and community stakeholders, while promoting recycling services and employment initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Environmental Services Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor of Commerce (Operations Management); or equivalent minimal 3 years experience in duties listed above may be considered</li><li>Valid class 5 driver’s licence</li><li>Motorized industrial vehicle certification (Skid Steer)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of recycling industry or manufacturing processes, equipment operation, logistics, and safety management systems; ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and ensure compliance with OHS standards.</li><li>Experience supervising staff, applying HR processes and accommodation strategies, and fostering safe, inclusive, and productive workplace practices.</li><li>Strong customer service, public speaking, and relationship-building skills; proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, record-keeping, and reporting.</li></ul><p>Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.</p><p><b>Submit</b> resume, cover letter and references to:</p><p>Email: <b>careers@saskabilities.ca</b></p><p>Mail: Mary Baron, Executive Assistant</p><p>Box 5011 YORKTON, SK S3N 3Z4</p><p>Email</p><p>careers@saskabilities.ca Please include the position you are applying for and the competition number in the email subject line.</p><p><em>For position-specific questions, please contact the above.
