<p><b>Role</b>: Field Service Technician</p><p><b>Length</b>: 3 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)</p><p><b>Location</b>: Quebec, St. Laurent</p><p><b>Office policy</b>: 5 days in office and on-call</p><p><b>Hours</b>: Monday-Friday : 8 hours per day- Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties</p><p><b>Rate</b>: $35-39/hour</p><p><br></p><p>Hays Specialist Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Service/Repair Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through the preparation, delivery, servicing, and return of medical equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment is sanitized, tested, and ready for patient use, while maintaining compliance with medical device regulations and company policies.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Your Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare medical equipment for patient use, including sanitization, disinfection, quality control testing, and packaging.</li><li>Deliver and retrieve equipment from customer locations using a company-provided vehicle.</li><li>Respond to product inquiries and address customer needs with professionalism and care.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Support the upkeep of a clean, safe, and organized service center and company vehicle.</li><li>Assist in maintaining Occupational Health and Safety standards within the work environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What you need to succeed:</b></p><ul><li>Full bilingual fluency is required in English and French</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (3-year abstract required).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.</li><li>Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business interactions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.</li><li>Experience working non-traditional schedules and adapting to dynamic work environments.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
