<p>Job Description</p><p>We are currently hiring for our Brantford location at Rugs 4 Home. We are primarily looking for individuals who are hardworking and sales driven with extensive customer service experience and communication skills.</p><p>Prior customer service experience will be considered an asset in the hiring process.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>delivering a great shopping experience</li><li>maintaining positive customer relations</li><li>maintaining store appearance</li><li>efficiently hang rugs up on the racks</li><li>properly bring rugs down in a safe manner</li><li>be able to effectively learn store policies and communicate this to customers in a clear and polite manner</li><li>ability to learn products, collections sizes and prices and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products</li><li>ability to apply the knowledge learnt and communicating this to customers</li><li>handle and rectify any complaints</li><li>working in a team setting</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>must be able to carry a maximum of 120 lbs</li><li>must have a flexible schedule and working on weekends will be required</li><li>must have great communications skills</li><li>must know how to work and use a cash register</li><li>must be able to open and close the store</li><li>must have good written and verbal skills</li><li>must know basic math</li><li>must have good work ethic; responsible, organized and reliable</li><li>previous customer service experience will be considered an asset</li></ul><p>Other Details</p><ul><li>this is a part-time position</li><li>please e-mail resumes</li></ul><p>Job Type: Part-time</p><p>Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour</p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Secondary School (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>sales: 1 year (preferred)</li><li>Customer service: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
