Job Description

School Vice Principal, Dasmesh Punjabi School.
Location: Abbotsford, BC.
Salary: 80,000 to 115,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week.
Full-time. Day. Starts as soon as possible.

Education: Bachelor's degree.

Experience: 5 years or more. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Assure community participation in programs for a school district.
2. Direct, through school principals, the academic affairs of a school district.
3. Evaluate teachers and support staff.
4. Evaluate teaching methods and quality of instructions.
5. Evaluate the academic affairs of a school district.
6. Oversee the activities of teachers and support staff.
7. Revise programs based on academic performance level.
8. Recruit and hire teachers and other staff.
9. Develop and administer programs for the education and training of students and adults.
10. Direct or supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of teachers.
11. Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum.
12. Coordinate teaching activities.
13. Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards.

Supervision:

16-20 people.

Credentials:

Provincial teacher's certificate.
