Company Background
TekRek has partnered with a fast growing firm specializing in AI enablement and data optimization. Our client works with some of the top tier technology firms in Silcom Valley. With rapid growth and strong market traction, they’re expanding their Analytics Engineering function.
We’re looking for Senior Analytics Engineers to own the data stack end-to-end building scalable dbt models, optimizing ELT pipelines, and enabling data-driven decisions across the business. Note, this is a contract role lasting 6-12 months.
Job Description
- Build modular data models and maintain ELT pipelines using dbt, SQL, and Airflow
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth teams to deliver insights
- Own internal dashboards and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, or Superset)
- Improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility across teams
- Develop internal tools and frameworks to support scalable analytics
Job Requirements
- Advanced SQL and intermediate-to-advanced Python (OOP, scripting)
- Experience with dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow
- Strong understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schema)
- Background with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)
- Clear communicator with strong business acumen
- Experience working with Product or Financial Analytics
- Bonus: Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
