We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, Central Kitchens and Commissary Support to join our Fresh Merchandising Finance team. In this role, you will provide complex financial analysis and business decision support to the Finance Manager, Fresh Merchandising and Central Kitchens, having responsibility for reporting on consolidated Central Kitchens results, budgeting, forecasting and related ad hoc analysis.
_This position is based out of our office in Mississauga, ON._
**Hereu2019s where youu2019ll be focusing:**
Serve as business partner for the Central Kitchens Site Directors, VP, and Fresh Category Managers
Produce and review reporting for weekly, and periodic Central Kitchens performance, support with analysis related to P&Ls, product launches, Sales, and Margins, and work to resolve issues to ensure the accuracy of Central Kitchens
Put forward suggestions to improve functional area processes
Assist in process of creating and maintaining forecasting, targeting, and budgeting templates
Lead the process of creating and explaining the Operating P&Ls for 3 Central Kitchens facilities
Analyze the transaction-level details of SAP postings
Assist in the creation of Business Cases for facilities
Assist in standard process creation for key analysis
Assist in development of performance analysis and prepare various analytical reports
Present reports effectively with various business partners including, Central Kitchens and Finance Teams
Perform account reconciliations and account analysis
Work with the Business Process Optimization (continuous improvement) teams to identify opportunities to reduce costs
Develop and manage various reports in SAP, Longview / Khalix, and SAPBW
**What you have to offer:**
A minimum of 5 years related work experience
University degree MBA and/or Professional designation or working towards one (CA, CGA, CMA, CFA)
Knowledgeable and experienced in Accounting functions
Intermediate MS Office, with advanced Excel experience required
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both Oral and Written)
Able to work in a team environment
Previous experience working with Category Management and or Retail stores is preferred
Strong technical accounting skills, with experience using SAP, Longview / Khalix, SAPBW, and other ad-hoc systems is preferred
Excellent communication skills, ability to build strong relationships as a business partner
Strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines
You must be a self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
