Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support key financial operations and help navigate the evolving tariff landscape. This position will play a critical role in improving internal processes and financial reporting related to tariffs and trade regulations. Additionally, the role will assist with the monthly financial close process and contribute to various special projects as assigned, offering valuable support to cross-functional teams and driving process efficiencies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with team members to improve existing reports to increase efficiencies.
- Focus on establishing streamlined processes including data capture and reporting automation.
- Assist in preparing documents for external audits.
- Assist with monthly financial close process including monitoring account activity and performing reconciliations.
- Prepare ad hoc tariff related requests to support other departments and customer needs.

Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent education in finance.
- Proficiency in Power Query (required).
- Proficiency in Power BI (required).
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (considered an asset).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
