<p><h3>Senior Learning & Development Consultant – Temporary 1 year contract</h3>
<p>Grainger Canada is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Consultant to design, develop, and deliver onboarding and training programs for the Field Ops organization.</p>
<p><b>Remote</b> – open to all Canada teams.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Design comprehensive learning materials and training programs, including job aids and instructional videos.</li>
<li>Develop content for instructor‑led, web‑based, virtual, and other delivery approaches.</li>
<li>Lead the formulation and update of procedures and learning programs.</li>
<li>Maintain learning sites, manage training calendars, and update content as needed.</li>
<li>Facilitate onboarding and training sessions virtually or live, ensuring knowledge retention.</li>
<li>Provide targeted performance coaching during and post training periods.</li>
<li>Build and support effective training, communication, adoption, and change management plans.</li>
<li>Prioritize work to meet aggressive deadlines and support Field Ops initiatives.</li>
<li>Other duties as required.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>5‑6 years of learning and development experience, including facilitation, content creation, and learning content management.</li>
<li>Post‑secondary degree or diploma in business, adult learning/education, organizational development, or instructional design (or equivalent experience).</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills – articulate verbal and written communication.</li>
<li>Team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work from a virtual location.</li>
<li>Proven success in live and virtual training delivery, confident presentation skills.</li>
<li>Flexible, proactive, and creative, open to change and identify knowledge gaps.</li>
<li>Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Learning platform knowledge is an asset.</li>
<li>Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.</li>
<li>Must be flexible, proactive and creative, open to change and willing to potential knowledge gaps to leadership.</li>
