If no one meets this qualification, CCMB reserves the right to consider completion of courses within two years.</li><li>A member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB) or eligible to obtain and be an active member prior to start date.</li><li>Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems.</li><li>Must have a valid Manitoba Driver’s License. Must provide a current Driver’s Abstract upon hire.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible work schedules including weekends & evenings, and willing to travel (drive and fly) to communities across Manitoba, including Northern and remote communities.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Must be in good physical health to meet the requirements of the position including lifting up to 25 pounds.</li><li>Must hold a satisfactory employment record.</li><li>Must be able to legally work in Canada</li></ul><p><b>Will be assessed during the interview process:</b></p><ul><li>Must have a thorough understanding and knowledge of positioning and compression, clinical and technical factors - including radiation safety, radiation protection, and quality control – relevant to perform the duties</li><li>Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).</li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as a positive member of a multi-disciplinary team.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>Previous mammography experience</li></ul><p><b>Assets:</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs.</li><li>Experience using Maxon BSP and PenRad.</li><li>Ability to speak French</li></ul><p>Interested and qualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed and current resume, plus a cover letter demonstrating how you meet the above qualifications and the above competition number.</p><p><b>This position is subject to a Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, an Adult Abuse Registry Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check.
